STATE COST-SHARE
The District provides both percent (%) and flat rate cost-share for a variety of practices. Common structural practices in the county includes: Water and Sediment Control Basins (WASCOBs), grassed waterways, terraces, grade stabilizations and diversions. Some common nonstructural practices can include cover crops, no-till, strip-till or critical area plantings. Overall, the objectives of approved practices include activities that:

control nutrient runoff 
- 
stabilize critical eroding areas 
- 
divert runoff to protect and improve water quality 
- 
reduce wind erosion 
- 
control gully, rill or sheet erosion 
- 
protect shoreland from erosion 
- 
control stormwater runoff or 
- 
protect surface water and groundwater quality
